About Us
AMD Container & Display is a full service sheet plant and is a division of Oak Paper Products Company Inc. AMD manufactures most styles of corrugated packaging including RSCs, die cuts, and point of purchase displays.
Oak Paper Products was founded by Jack Bernstein in 1946, after moving to Los Angeles from Chicago, where he was active in the packaging business in the late 1930s. The company started by selling job lot (over-run) boxes with 5 employees in an 11,000 square foot warehouse. The manufacturing division was later added so Oak Paper could produce cartons and other packaging in-house.
Oak Paper Products is now a third generation family-owned business. The second generation, Max Weissberg and Dick Seff, entered the business in 1970. The third generation entered the business in later years. David Weissberg started in 1982 and Randy Seff started in 1995. It has been very important for us as a family business to keep Oak as a family-owned and managed business.
AMD operates from a 40,000 square foot facility in Vernon, California. The entire warehouse and manufacturing space for all Oak Paper divisions exceeds 500,000 square feet in the various locations.
The number of locations of all Oak Paper divisions has expanded tremendously over the years. They include:

- Sales office and distribution warehouse in Sacramento, California
- Sales office in San Clemente, California
- Distribution location in Yuma, Arizona
